Art and traditions

Art and traditions represent the deep roots of culture, a heritage that is renewed through creativity and time.

Art and traditions are the foundation of culture, like the roots of a tree that draw from the earth the energy needed to grow and prosper.

Culture has its roots in the past, in traditions and history, but it projects itself towards the future through art and artistic expression. Like trees with deep roots, culture also needs strong roots to survive modern times and the challenges of today’s world.

Preserving traditions through art allows us to keep the flame of culture alive, as Gustav Mahler said:

“Tradition is not the veneration of ashes, but the preservation of fire.”

Just as trees grow and evolve over time, traditions must be reinterpreted and adapted to the needs of the present to remain relevant and meaningful.

Art and traditions allow us to connect with our cultural roots and create a sense of belonging, as Maya Angelou said:

“We all have roots, and without roots, without an understanding of history, we are lost.”
